Glorious Day!

We are all so thankful that God has chosen us to literally be His hands and feet. Worship tonight was extra special. Kevin gave his testimony to a great crowd. We had about 150 people and 5 more souls have been saved! GLORY! Worhsip services are so beautiful. Worship is unashamed and with a geuine heart. Besides the humidity and heat...we could have not asked for better weather. This is a beautiful country filled with loving people. Today´s activites went just great. Sheri, Jonathon and Jude helped paint a house. Mr. Charles, John and Jay are wiring and replacing a roof on a house. Jan, Steven, Randy, and Drew played soccer and baseball with the kids and adults. Rachel, Brook, Brock and Allysa helped me with the arts and crafts with the inside crew. John Rainey was EVERWHERE! Kevin ended up with the construction crew. For the ones of you who know Kevin....that is a scary sight! We feel blessed to be here! We would not want to be aywhere else! Jesus Saves!

We have had such a busy day already. We are taking a Siesta right now! I really wish we could. We have shared the Gospel today with around 150 kids and adults. One more group to go! Mr. Charlie, John and Jay are busy re'roofing a house. The family has been living without a roof for a very long time . We will post later tonight. Please pray for good health for all of us.

Little Kids

These kids are so energetic I thought I was the energetic kid on the earth...... I have been proven wrong. Its so amazing to see those kids say one thing and then all of the sudden my life was changed. I thought this trip was going to be EASY but it wasnt its was pretty HARD. I think i should live like jesus the rest of my life. BUT Its not hunky dorry being like jesus. Many times I dont think of home, I now think of the Nicaraguans homes instead of mine. I want to give but i cant give to these kids, because im not in control. I have to ask my mom and dad if " i can give this and i can give that " but i cant stand the feeling when i get back their gone because the kids dont understand me. It makes me want to give my testimony in the morning to my energetic discipiles i call the 2-5 year olds. Tommorow is gonna be a new leaf and a new story.

Every Nation and Tongue

What a day! We have ended our day worshipping with our brothers and sisters here in Masatepe. Even though we could not understand what was being said...we were able to feel the Holy Spirit move in a mighty way. God understood and that was all that counted. Heaven is rejoicing tonight! 12 beautiful souls were saved tonight! We have witnessed to many children and adults today. Mr. Charlie, John and Jay have been busy today helping restore homes and the church. Their eagerness to serve with their hands has been such a blessing here. Tomorrow is a big day for them. Mr. Charlie will finish up restoring much needed power to a house. John and Jay will be replacing a roof for an elderly church member. John Rainey and all the TU students have witnessed through their sports ministry. The kids LOVE soccer and baseball. Using our evangelism soccer balls has been a hit! Sheri Stewart is such a God send to this team. Her love and compassion for Christ is contageous...and people are catching it! We look forward to see what GOd has planned for us for the next couple of days. We came here hoping to change lives....we will leave here being changed ourselves. To God be the Glory!

Day 1

For the ones of us who came last year, seeing the sweet people of Masatepe again was a unbelievable feeling We were greeted with the sweetest hugs and kisses! Just doesn´t get any better than that. Jay and John arrived after a long delay. Truely an answered prayer They were glad to see us and we were relieved to see them. Today was a planning day for all of us. We have so much to do before our real work begins. Sorry we have no pics to post, techical difficulties today as usual. We will have a full report tomorrow, I promise. Continue to pray for us.

To the Ends of the Earth!

Acts 1:8

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth"

FBC Thomasville has taken this passage to heart and is witnessing throughout our community, state, nation and literally to the ends of the earth. We are up for the challenge God has given us in sharing His Word and telling the beautiful people in Nicaragua about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our goal to is serve the New Horizon Church in Masatepe, Nicaragua in any way needed. We are planning sport camps, humanitarian aid, construction projects, and nighly crusade services. Please be in prayer for us! We know God is in control and works out everything for His good and glory!
