Words can't describe the horrific yet beautiful sites seen today at the landfill. We really felt led to minister to the people who call the dumb their home. We planned and prepared the best we knew how. We took bibles, spanish tracks, food, drinks, clothes and food with us. When we drove up, through the smoke, we could see the children running down the piles of garbage coming toward us. All of our hearts melted and van was silent. We let God speak through us and we fed them the word of God and much needed food! I am humbled at God's love for all of us. We all came here to help change lives...but ours have been changed!
We will finish painting the dorm today! We just bought the whole crew 35 of us icecream and it cost $5.00. Got to love it!
Keep Praying...
God's Team!
It is a blessing to see what great work the team is doing. It is an eye opener to see how families live in other parts of the world, then I think about those who are forced to live a similar life right under our nose.
ReplyDeleteEveryone I have spoken to are so grateful that ya'll have taken time to minister to those in another country. Be Blessed
